For over 25 years, I’ve worked in high-pressure environments where communication can determine how a situation unfolds. For more than 15 of those years, I’ve focused on crisis negotiation and communication training.
I’ve spent a lot of time in conversations where emotions are high, trust is low, and the stakes are real.
What I’ve learned is this: the way we communicate matters more than we think — not just in critical moments, but at home, at work, and in everyday life.
Everything I share comes from real-world experience. Not theory. Not scripts. Just what actually works when people are upset, resistant, or struggling to make decisions.
